Meet the Team
Will Blessing and Josh Moss
Josh and Will are the founders and owners of NAMU. They started NAMU to build something exciting with scientific and engineering skills that was also personally meaningful and fulfilling. Outside of work, Will and Josh love their pups Olive and Fennel and the depths of Bravo TV.
Josh pairs his technical background with executive business expertise. A graduate of U.C. Berkeley and MIT with degrees in Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Josh studied the science of distillation and aromatic gas-phase chemistry. He previously worked as a business consultant and later as Head of Business Operations for a biotech startup, where he led business development and executive strategy.
Will integrates his Korean American heritage with an extensive scientific background. A Cornell and Boston University graduate with a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Will is steeped in fermentation and analytical chemistry. His journey began with apartment homebrewing and evolved into a specialized focus on makgeolli, where he refined traditional techniques with a scientific approach.
Founders and Owners
Hannah Kim
Hannah Kim is a marketer who likes building things from scratch—figuring out what a brand actually is, how it should sound, and how to get people to care about it. She’s worked across public health, nonprofits, and early-stage brands, and tends to take a pretty hands-on approach to everything from social to partnerships to overall strategy.
At NAMU, she’s leading marketing and collaborations, with a focus on growing the brand in a way that feels thoughtful and true to its roots.
She’s especially drawn to brands with strong cultural identity and purpose, and is excited to help bring NAMU’s story to life. Outside of work, you can probably find her cooking, spending time with her two cats, Zuko and Mae, and her dog Poppy, or on the hunt for her next favorite bite.
